    Dedication to technical research and development supported by the most sophisticated design, manufacturing and testing technologies on ad hoc built test benches have made MFR WHEELS the ultimate expression of quality and performance, both for racing and road sport bikes.

    These and other details enabled MFR WHEELS to be immediately chosen by Yamaha Motor Racing, both by Yamaha Factory Racing – with the defending World Champion Jorge Lorenzo – and by the satellite Team Monster Yamaha Tech 3. MFR WHEELS were also chosen by Gresini Racing Team, as the Moto 2 defending World Champion, and by Tenerife 40 Pons Team, the Nieto G22 Racing Team, by QMMF Racing Team Qatar, by Moriwaki Engineering and many more.

  • Minimum weight, perfect rigidity

    The classic choice of five spokes for the best weight-performance compromise allows for incremental rigidity in radial, torsion and flexural stress, assuring increased rider confidence on corner entrance and giving highly improved damping on rough and bumpy surfaces.

  • Lightening pockets

    MFR Wheels use high quality materials throughout, such as 7075 T6 alloy and titanium alloys. They also benefit from the best hard oxide superficial treatment available. On request, we canalso provide hard oxide-treated aluminium alloy sprockets in the desired toothing size.

    The insertion of lightening pockets in the rim groove, right at the coincidence of the coupler of the spokes, allowed for considerable reduction in the weight of the flywheel mass of the wheel. This noticeably enhanced the drivability of a motorcycle when in the sudden changes of direction. This design element was both complex and precise.

  • Rigorous Laboratory and On-track Testing

    MFR Wheels have been subjected to the highest standards of testing to testify their reliability. MFR is equipped with test benches which can test each wheel according to safety standards as required both by international regulations and by specific motorcycle companies. MFR's testing simulates the worst stresses suffered by a wheel during the GP. Test drivers and official drivers tested MFR wheels on the track: the positive results that emerged by their tests are confirmation of the product's excellence.

  • Attention to detail

    No detail is left to chance. Even the least visible parts of the wheel are treated with same high degree of precision. This has enabled us to capitalise on other opportunities to reduce weight, in addition to achieving a mass unbalance close to zero.

  • Adhesion rim-tyre

    Further design innovation comes in the form of a special compound that prevents tyre rotation on the wheel. Applied on the bead seat retention area, the compound acts against the extreme stresses that the tyre is placed under acceleration and braking.

  • Wheel certification

    Every single MFR wheel is engraved with a serial number indicating the product lot, the tests done and the type of use. This provides a further guarantee of quality, reliability and safety.

  • Maximum corrosion protection

    MFR introduced a very resistant anodic oxidation treatment for magnesium alloy wheels. Aluminium alloy wheels are treated through an anodic oxidation treatment which provides great corrosion resistance. A range of wheel colours are available on request, both through the anodic oxidation process and painting. Furthermore, aluminium alloy wheels can be processed with a complete hard oxide surface treatment.
